We're gearing up for our fourth season of softball in Daegu. The softball league is a great way to have fun, compete and meet new people. This time the league will be growing to eight teams. As of now, we have 7 dates locked down in Daegu and we're trying to secure a couple more with a possible game in Gyeongju. The important things to know right now are:

Signups for returning players: March 7th 1-5 pm at the Holy Grill Sports Lounge (3rd floor)

Signups for new players: March 14th 1-5pm also at the Holy Grill Sports Lounge. New players are advised to arrive early as we ran out of room quickly last year.

Games will take place on Sundays from late morning to late afternoon, mostly at the baseball field in Duryu park. Opening day is April 4th.

We have a baseball team here in Seoul, that's always looking for a roadtrip or 2 during the summer. I wonder if you guys could put together a team willing to play a baseball game.

Hell if u guys would want we could play 2 days, one baseball game and one softball game.

Here's a little news I wanted to pass on about this Sunday's signups for new players from the facebook page:
As you already know, signups for new players are next Sunday, March 14th at the Holy Grill. We've decided to do a lottery for the remaining spots available. There are spots for 31 men and 13 women left in the league. We think a lottery will be the most fair and least chaotic way to do this, because a lot of people have expressed interest in playing. So here is how it will work. We will be at the Holy Grill giving out lottery numbers starting at noon on Sunday. The cutoff time for lottery numbers will be 2 o'clock. From there the lottery will begin and we will fill out the remaining spots. YOU HAVE TO BE IN THE ROOM TO BE IN THE LOTTERY! Remember the signup fee is 50,000 won. Hope this is clear.
