|
|
My recruiter, from WorknPlay, sent my application to the school today...now what do I do? Should I go ahead and continue to apply to schools or should I just keep everything on hold until I hear from the school?
My recruiter was talking to me about coming in for an interview (date not set), asked me for my availability date and then suddenly told me that she has placed me with another recruiter. What is going on? Will I hear from the school directly from this point on or my recruiter?
Sincerely,
Confused :/ |

I would bet money it is not a real international school if they are using a recruiter. The real international schools do all their hiring themselves, or use agencies like Search Associates or ISS to find qualified teachers.
Sounds like you just applied for an ESL job. What do you do? I would keep applying for other jobs unless they have offered you a job and you like what you see. |

The only "international" school I've heard of that uses a recruiter is
"Seoul Global High School". It's supposed to be a pretty decent school but pay is low and I don't believe it holds any international accreditation. |

totally agree with Mr. Pink. All the recognized international schools recruit at UNI, Search, ISS and the Queens fair in Toronto. Real international schools, even the ones in Korea, do not use recruiters like work n play and the like. |
