Is anyone else having trouble getting their CDs to work? I cannot seem to get the new ones to run on my computer. I'm following all of the instructions, as much as I can. My computer is a Vista computer (which I've never used before) and is, of course, in Korean. When I get to the first screen for the CD (the one with the lamp in the top right hand corner), it just freezes up on me. I've tried downloading the flash player from the internet, but that's not working either. Sad

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Maybe try copying all the files on the CD to your Hard Drive. Don't run the CD. Just put the CD in, and close out any window that pops up. Go to My computer. Right click on the DVD drive and go to "explore".

Make a folder on your desktop. Highlight all the files on the DVD drive and drag them over to the desktop.

When you finish, go into the desktop fodler you made with the CD files in it. Find the file you run, right click it and select "Run in Windows XP compatibility mode".

That might get it to work.

The new CDs are incompatible with Vista. Tested and verified on 4 Vista computers at my school. How they could possibly screw up a Flash program to make it not work with Vista is beyond me.

We had to downgrade to XP to get them to work. This does raise the question of how long this country will be stuck on a 9-year-old operating system.

Do not do this. There is an easier way. The bottom option when you run the program is to install it to the drive. Click that, wait 10 minutes, then eject the CD. You will be able to run it from the hard drive this way.

Of course, if it's incompatible with Vista then it won't work either way.

Has anyone tried running the .exe in XP compatibility mode?

http://www.gamedu.co.kr/

This is a website I was just given to use to access the books. I don't know if it's just for here at my school, or not. I just thought I'd share it in case someone else is having the same problem I had. Smile

snowysunshine, you are the king/queen of the world!

Just checked the site and it runs like a dream without the CD.

It even has a digital black board that you can type things on.

SWEEETTTTTTT!

I bow down to you, snowysunshine, I think you should make a new post and the Mods should make a sticky of that information- if it hasn't been done already!
