|
|
Hi, my dad bought my return plane ticket on credit card and the school needs the receipt. I'm leaving in a few weeks and they need the receipt ASAP. Does faxing it sound like a good option?
I have the fax number for my school but do I need to add more numbers? It's being faxed from the United States.
Also, he is paranoid and wants to white-out his credit card number. Will this cause problems? |

| You should ask the school if it's ok. |

Do you know if I need to include a country code for faxes coming to Korea from the USA? Any idea where to find out what numbers to add? |

You're asking how to send a fax? Really?
The country code for Korea is 82. The school has an area code (probably starting with 0, we can use 031 as an exapmple) and the actual phone number (say 555-1212).
So, now we have 82 31 (leave off the leading 0) + 555-1212
Now all you need to figure out is the international prefix to dial outside of the country from the US, which is probably 011 (I'm not American).
All that added together leads to: 011-82-31-555-1212. Stick in the paper, dial the numbers, and hit the big green button. |

If your dad has a digital camera: get him to photgraph the receipt, and then email the photo file to you as an 'attachment'.
I do this all the time with documents from home. Works a treat.
Good luck. |

I know how to fax, I just wasn't sure about the country codes, etc. Thanks for the info. |
