What's a North Dakota? A better question would be: Would anyone admit to being from North Dakota?

When I think North Dakota, I think cold and boring. Glad I'm not from there.

I'm sure it is a beautiful state though! Lots of unspoilt areas.

I lived in Fargo for three years. I blacked out in Minot after my band played a show there. Heck of a punk rock scene for such a tiny town.

I'm sure N. Dakota is plenty glad it can't claim you either.

The North West territories is some of the finest country on the continent. If I had a Harley and a couple months to kill....

Ah well. It's on "the list" ...

Whats the population of North Dakota? 5000? Chances seem pretty slim, although I met someone in Itaewon from Roy, New Mexico. What were the chances of that?

Don't mind at all if No. Dakota doesn't want to claim me...it is probably the least popular state in the US. Besides, since you like to defend it, why aren't you living there? Laughing . Yeah, that's right, because it is probably too cold and desolate. Which is my point. North Dakota makes South Korea look cool...and that says a lot.

Tell you what...to any of you North Dakota sympathizers. Go live in a city there from December-February. Then get back to me on how awesome it is. I figure that this ought to modify that thinking...

What's the matter, can't handle a little cold? Will your tears freeze to your cheeks? Razz Razz Laughing

The Dakotas are wide open country. It's hard living for hard people. They are the very last people you want to challenge to a test of fortitude.

They're a different sort, a different culture. Hardship is in their blood going generations, centuries, back.

To demean a people for being stronger, more resourceful, and more resolute than you is pretty damned counter-productive.

The Dakotas, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, and Canada's NW Territories is hard land. It will make a man/woman of you. It is also culturally rich and and gorgeous land. When the snow melts in Montana, send this poor Yankee to Heaven!

NoDak is nice if you're a winter sports kind of guy or a power drinker (You have to black out most of winter to get through it.) The only town I could live in is Fargo, though. It's just as good as any college town in the midwest. (Think Lawrence, Kan., Iowa City, Lincoln, Neb., etc.) Though, 3 years was enough for me.

For the record: Population is about 650,000. 49th in the nation. Take that Wyoming! Razz

From some ESL wanker who made a career of ESL in Korea, doesn't seem like you have much room to talk. Jackass! -20F keeps out the riff raff and losers like you!.

Ah, the North Dakota/cold weather contingent...strong and in the house Rolling Eyes Oh, by the way, I didn't make a career out of ESL in Korea. Your ignorance is astounding. You know jackspit about me. And what job would you be doing by chance? Oh, that's right...probably an ESL monkey working at Wonderland or something. Yeah, you've got winner written all over you. You've probably just got out of the frat and recently moved out of mommy and daddy's basement, so I can tolerate your naivete.

Enjoy that cold. I think it is funny when people equate cold weather to such things as strength and fortitude..haha Laughing Dumb and dumber. Yes, sure, only cold weather people know how to be strong...LOL.That's cool if you think like that. You stay huddled in your house while all the snow falls and then try to start your car on a cold ass morning and then watch out for those roads. I'll be in a place that has nice weather, beaches and girls in bikinis Cool . But, no, you guys stay tough...you live in cold places like North Dakota. Perfect for your ilk. You take the ice and snow, I'll take the sun and babes. How's that?

Oh, and I don't think the riff-raff would want to go to North Dakota. Why? Because it is TOO DAMN COLD!!!LOL
