Hey everyone,
I purchased my Canon 30D DSLR and Canon 17-85mm f/4-5.6 from keh.com, an online photo retailer based in Atlanta, GA that specializes in buying and selling used cameras and lenses. The great thing about this site is that, when purchasing used equipment to re-sell, the people at KEH inspect each item and assign a condition rating to it, which you can read about here under "What do KEH's equipment grades mean?:" http://keh.com/help.aspx#pe19.
I purchased both the camera and the lens together in "LN-" conditions in July, 2009 for $665 and $429, respectively, and they remain in the same condition. I bought the 50mm f/1.8 a month later, in August, 2009, from a local photo retailer here in Changwon brand new for ₩120,000. I've rarely used them; I decided that I'd rather have a smaller camera that's easier to carry around on trips, and since I can't really afford to have a nice point and shoot and a nice DSLR, I've decided that I need to sell my DSLR and gear.
You can read about the camera here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos30d/
and you can read about the lenses here: http://www.dpreview.com/lensreviews/canon_17-85_4-5p6_is_usm_c16/
and here: http://www.dpreview.com/lensreviews/canon_50_1p8_ii_c16/
I'll listen to all offers, and though I'd prefer to sell all of my gear together, I'll consider serious offers on individual items as well. If anyone is interested in buying all of the gear together, though, then I will throw in a 4GB compact flash card, a USB card reader, and a sturdy, black Canon carrying case that holds my camera body, both lenses, card reader and cables (an $80 value!). |
