I got a 32" Arm-Style Wall Mount. Its rated for 32" TV's. I want to upgrade to the 42", but I don't want to buy a new mount because I would have to pay to get it installed.
YOu think I'll be OK using it with the 42"? Just how much more heavy is a 42" TV compared to 32"? |

| LCD or PDP? Plasmas weigh a lot more than LCDs. You'll probably be OK if it's LCD. |

| The arm is rated for up to a 40" TV. It doesn't specify LCD or Plasma. |

The size rating really doesn't tell you anything. Does it have a weight rating? |

my arm that i use for the tv is rated for up to like 75lbs.
it says only 32 inches, but the new samsung 40 inch pavvs have a similar mount so it will work. 42 and up wont work.
its a universal mount, so im guessing that if whatever ur looknig at is similar to mine, then 40inches would be your max.
If you have trouble finding a mount, i'd be more than willing to sell you mind.
but 40 inches is your max. |
