The Ravens are playing a preseason game as I type this and I'm missing out!!
Is there a way to stream games over the net? |

This won't help you with the live games but if you want to watch them on delay via torrent, go here: http://tenyardtracker.com/login.php |

you can also pay $179 to the NFL and get all Raven games live throughout the season, with that service you can also get the games archived |

Which is what the previous replies already stated....
My take: If you can avoid the scores and watch the game a few hours to a day later, go with ten yard torrents.
If you want to watch games live, pony up the cash. The free live streams tend to be crap and often get shut down mid-game. Nothing more frustrating than being awake at 5 am and unable to watch the game. |

i've paid for the nfl gamepass package the last 3 years and it was always worth it. i've never had problems with the connection getting shut down. for the full version, can watch every game of every team live or archived and you get access to the NFL Network (live and archived) 24/7. it costs about 250 bucks, but is worth it if you're a big time football fan. |

thing most annoying about tenyardstorrent is that for some reason they always banned me for not seeding. I seed every game all the time, I leave utorrent open all day, but they always ban me, so I have to create a new yahoo email address and re-register every week. Kind of annoying. Anyone know how to stop this? |

Another good site is is this one: http://www.soccertvlive.net/
Don't let the name fool you. It used to be FirstRow until the US gov shut it down. It works well for MLB and NBA too. (for MLB you'll need Stream Torrent). It worked well for NFL and NCAA last year and I used it to watch the Tigers beat the Indians just this morning. |

If you created a new account, you should be able to download 20gb before you are required to maintain the 0.3 ratio.
Keeping a healthy ratio is the main reason folks try to jump on a torrent as quickly as possible, in hopes that it will lead to a faster download and them more people left wanting that file to seed to.
But really, if seeding is an issue, then you could always donate. (basically meaning you are buying more allowance to download without uploading.
However seeding has always been an issue for me as well, because my connection will never allow me to seed more than 50kb/s no matter how i teak it. When i first joined years ago it was a bit of an issue, and I was having to keep every game of the entire season on my pc so that it could seed. These days however after years of use, i have downloaded and uploaded so much that although my ratio is only 1.25...i could probably download a full season or two of the games i want and never upload before i dropped below the minimum ratio.
Here are a few tricks that may assist you.
1. Only download the games you REALLY want. In my case, i only download the games my team plays..
2. Try to stay away from the HD or 720p files unless there is no other available. These take up 4gb or more, and even though i have a mac daddy monitor, i cant see much of a difference between those and the regular 1.5gb 264 files, certainly not enough to make up that difference...and considering my upload rate, getting back to 0.3 of a 4gb file is much more difficult that doing the same on a 1.5gb file
3. Unless you are a die-hard fan, skip downloading the pre-season games. I found out the hard way on my first year that getting these seeded is not easy, and especially after the regular season starts..
4. Check the site HOFTorrents.com. There don't have nearly as much selection as TYT, but often you can find a very select few games there that are starred as "free leach" meaning they do not count toward your download ratio.
5 Check the "cappers schedule" on the forums. Often times..the person who is scheduled to cap a game will mention that their first release of that game will be a 720p HD version, and then perhaps a day later they will release a smaller file sized standard version. If you can manage to avoid seeing the results until that regular version is released, then you can save yourself alot of download space.
6. Although it is a known fact that people should not jump on a torrent as soon as it is released because it slows the download for everyone else...i urge you to check that site first thing monday mornings for the torrent you want, and then after check it or otherwise try to get the torrent you want asap.. Most of those uploaders have great upload capabilities so that even if there is only one seed and 400 leechers, the download will finish in a timely manner, and since you were one of the first in line to jump on the torrent...that just means that many more people behind you whom you will be seeding it to after your download completes.
7. Try to keep the files as long as you can. Even if it is week 13, if you still have games from earlier weeks, people will still occasionally want them. If you have the disk space..do not delete the games you have downloaded until the end of the season. |

Just a short edit -
In the post above I mentioned HOFtorrents.com. Apparently that site has merged with another site, and the NFL selection as well as other sports has greatly improved!! |

they've reached the maximum amount of users, also. I don't get it, why does it matter how many members they have?! Frustrating. |
