Hi,

I'm wondering how funky your hair can be for teaching or if there are any judgements about how you wear your hair?

Thanks

Generally speaking, when it comes to appearance you should think about how you would dress if you were teaching in your home country. Koreans have some specific things, like preferring no facial hair on guys and no bleached hair on women. However, this mostly applies to Koreans rather than foreigners. As long as your style is clean and not crazy then don't worry about it.

Good advice, but I think grooming is one of the reasons that they do the picture in the application. If you look like you did when they decided to take you then its fine. I've seen some crazy things out here that no one seems to care about.

Women with the sides of their heads shaved, men with some real goofy beards, or people with piercings that would never fly at a school in the US.
All in all they are pretty lax, so there shouldnt be much to worry about.
