I have some video tapes which I want to convert to avi,
does anyone know of a service where I can get this done? |

| I dont know about doing it externally, but if you have alot of VHS and enough time, you can do it yourself with a converter. I have used the "Canopus AVDC 110". For an apple computer, it was plug and play. It has a cost of about US$200. |

| some flash based camcorders can do this -- quality varies, but aiptek cams can do it (80usd new) |

I found a few stores that offer VHS to avi on CD or DVD. Price is usually 10,000 per tape.
Here is one place in Chun-an (010-7102-5809)

There was also a store in Guri (near Seoul) but I can't find their number at the moment. My friend might still have their number so let me know if you're interested in the Guri location. |

another place is E-Mart. The one in Seollung does it but not sure if the other E-marts have the same kind of services. |
