| Hey guys, what is it like teaching high school level for EPIK? What topics do you teach? Do you make lessons? Use text book only? More writing or conversation? Any help will do..Thanks |

The most important factor is the support you receive from your coworkers and school administration. The kids are almost uniformly good. Without the former though, it can be a nightmare!

Agreed, it all really depends on the school. Where the school is and if its a technical or academic high school. Its the difference between night and day there. Also if its a boys school, girls school or mixed. |

| you'll be fine. obviously there will be a wide range of ability in each class, and some classes are better than others. some kids are fluent, some cant read. most still act like they are elementary kids so i think it will be similar to your experience, except they are taller. and depending on what grade you teach has am impact on the class too. right now i have third grade and second grade students. and i can tell you teaching first or second is better in my opinion. the third graders dont care about class at all, they only care about the exam in november. |
