				| I am in Anyang and I can't seem to find an adapter for my notebook computer. I have looked in Emart, Hi Mart and other local shops. They have two prong ones but I can't find one with three. Any thoughts? Should I go into Yongsan or Technomart? Thanks. |

Yes, either Yongsan or Technomart would have it. You'd need to go to one of the stores that has nothing but accessories that are usually the kiosks on the side along the walls. |

Most, but not all Emarts carry a 220-110 Voltage Converter Kit, but apparently yours didn't, unless you overlooked it. I still have a pic on photobucket of the one I was selling a couple of months ago. Check it out using the link below if you want so you know what to look for the next time you're in another emart. It only cost about 11K Won. I used mine for my laptop (with a 3 prong plug) last year and it did the job perfectly. Perfect for laptops and other less sophisticated electronics like clocks, hairdryers, etc. Everything else requires a transformer I think, but for laptops, this should be suitable. Hope this helps.

Ah, that is NOT a voltage converter. It's just a plug adaptor.

If you put anything that needs 110V in that , it'll fry.

OP: Check the voltage range on your laptops power brick, if it says 110-240v then that plug adaptor will be fine. If not, you'lll need a transformer. |
