Hell no!
Don't worry about the interview, it not so much what you say, it's how you say it. From my experience what they're evaluating is your abiliities to communicate. Speak slow and clear, enunciate everything, don't mutter or stutter. If you have a strong regional accent maybe try to smooth it out a bit. Depending on who is interviewing you they may or may not even understand everything you say during the interview. |

| Thanks but they want me to answer these questions via email. So they want to evaluate my writing abilities? |

really? a written interview, that's a new one... Then I guess you have two options, you could write the truth, or you could write what you think they want to read. Ideally the two would be one in the same. In this case make sure you focus on grammer and spelling, make sure you don't have any typos.
I guess I had to write an essay for SMOE and it covered most of these things, so maybe it just the same type of requirement, wouldn't surprise me if it were just another piece of paperwork that no one will ever read. |

Definitely do not pay for your plane ticket! It is expected that schools pay for your plane ticket to Korea. As for the interview, I'm surprised that they didn't want a phone interview. But like the above posters said, just be careful with spelling and grammar and put some thought into your answers, and I'm sure you'll do great!
Does anyone else find that the picture you send to schools seems to matter more than anything else? |
