If so, could give me a little info as to how you got it. I looked it up online of course, but everything I found was a little vague. Just really who it's for. I COULD go to immigration and ask HOWEVER no one at immigration speaks English! Go figure.

you need a korean entertainment agency to sponsor you for that visa.

For an E-6 Visa

A foreigner shall make an application for a visa to a Korean Embassy or Consulate abroad and required documents are as follows:

ㅇ Passport
ㅇ Application form
ㅇ Required documents for performer at entertainment place (hotel, etc.)
- recommendation letter for performance from Korea Media Rating Board
- performance plan
- certificate of HIV test
- reference

② Required documents for others
- recommendation letter for employment from the Minister of pertinent Department or substantiating documents for the necessity of employment
- certificate of qualification or career certificate
- reference

※ If necessary, the chief of a Korean Embassy or Consulate abroad may ask an applicant to submit more documents than required.


When the application is approved, the chief of a Korean Embassy or Consulate abroad shall affix a visa stamp in the passport of the applicant. On a visa stamp, there are the status of sojourn(E-6), period of stay(less than 2 years) and validity of a visa.
