| Which side of the island are you on? There is an English language sermon and song sunday service just started at one of the churches here in Seogwipo, on the southern coast. PM me if interested and I'll put you in touch with a coworker of mine who goes. |

| I'll be heading out to Jeju the first week of April, and would very much like to find an English service as well. PM me of you find one in the area of Ido Dong! If none are to be found, it would be a great excuse to get down to Seogwipo! |

I'll be teaching at Child U in Old Jeju... so um wherever that is... lol.
I'm waiting for my Visa # to process... so hopefully sooner than later. Should be arriving I'm guessing anywheres from 2-3 weeks. I"m told that Jeju Immigration isn't as swamped as some others on the mainland, so it's quicker. If everything runs smoothly I'll be there by April 1st! *crossing fingers and praying*
Maybe we can hit The Factory or Zapatas after I'm settled in!
I'm sure my fiance will feel much better about my being there when I'm plugged into a local church with Christians! |

| Nice, I like the unstated idea that you don't want to hang out with people who don't share the same religious beliefs that you do, it's a great way to make friends and win people over. |

Now come on, do you typically befriend Mormons, Wiccans, or Scientologists without apprehension? How long do those friendships last? Or how about, if you drink, people who refuse to drink for religious reasons? Or PETA activists? Rabid feminists? I'm sure you have some kind of innate criteria for the friends you choose to associate with. No? |

| Well I do have Mormon friends, but I'm not Mormon myself. Wiccan, Scientology would be too hard to find, but I'd be nice to them, as well as PETA supporters and whoever else I met with so-called 'out there' convictions. Everyone's okay in my book, as long as they keep it to themselves. I just think it's weird to go to an island on the southern tip of South Korea with any kind of criteria as to who I want to meet. The lack of openness only demonstrates close-mindedness in this case, nothing else. |
