I just take them from the streets. I have found some pretty funny ones and also some random ones that don't make sense. Either way, it's a great and cheap way to decorate your apartment Wink

Captain Marlow, your avatar is mesmorising! It just keeps going and going!

As for posters, I like maps, which you can get from Bandi's and Luni's. I have a map of the world and one of Seoul. I got a picture of a cherry blossom from a man with a stall at a subway station, a hanging from Thailand, a Korean flag from Insadong, a map of Korea free from a highway rest stop, and lots of small pics from old calendars I cut up. Between all these I don't have much wall space left.

If you're after traditional posters only, maybe ordering online would be the best bet for you. I bet you could find a company who'd ship them here.

homokaasu.org

this is a cool website where you upload any photo and it prints it out on multiple a4 sheets of paper... you then put them all together and it pretty much takes up an entire wall...

Or you can ask local video stores, who usually have loads.

What I did was hang some large bolts of cloth from a fabric store up on my main bare wall. It makes the place feel a little smaller, but a hell of a lot homier. Also, Lotte and other places have puzzles and picture frames of some alright stuff. Finally, you can get some classic art 101-type prints (Van Gogh, Picasso) at some book stores. All together, you can make your place feel less like a witness protection safehouse for about 100,000 won.

They have a lot at the Museum in Seoul where the Andy Warhol exhibit is located, forget the name. I bought a poster for 1000 won.

Also, have you thought about just pulling down the ones hung up on the streets?

I have decided to just print my own posters! Check out:

http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/

It is a free program that will break up an image and print it pop-art style across as many sheets of paper you think you can get away with printing for free at your school! Smile

There is an example of the kind of stuff you can do. I am currently looking for a print shop or kinkos since my school's printer is a joke.
