The recipe calls for American Ginseng Extract... anyone know where to buy this or what this would be called in Korean.

I think I did find it at emart but it goes for like 70k. I found it on an American web site for like $6 (http://www.vitacost.com/Hsus-Ginseng-Root-To-Health-American-Ginseng-Extract?csrc=GPF-053181010030)

I thought ginseng is cheaper here? Thanks alot!

You can find it almost anywhere. I just bought a small bottle for 32,000 won from a special store that only sells Ginseng products. Those stores are everywhere... sort of red color to them, and tons of ginseng type products available. There's a good place in Itaewon that sells ginseng extract in very small amounts, which would be better budget option for you. No, ginseng extract is expensive anywhere in the world. But I personally think it is cheap, because you should know, that a very very small bottle of ginseng extract lasts a very very long time! I had one bottle last me like 2 years. It doesn't take a whole lot to make a cup of tea with.

I find that ginseng really helps fights colds. And it keeps me healthy... it's a good product, although not good for everyone.
