With the Seoul marathon coming up this weekend, just curious if anyone knows where to get running gear in Seoul, specifically body glide and some type of powergel...

Thanks!

If you had more time, I'd recommend ebay if you can find a seller willing to ship overseas.

I have an amazing pair of Vibram Five Fingers

you will have a great opportunity to get these on the day of the race. The starting area has a load of stalls selling gels and bodyglide, you could also get your knees, thighs and any other problem areas stapped really well there by some trained specialists!

Was in Ireland when it was on last year, registered for it in 2008, ended up doing my knee in shortly before it (couldn't run for 15months after it happened) But I went up to it and watched the start and finish and a little bit along the way too.

The start area is mad busy but there are loads of stalls etc and the baggae collection seemed to be run very well and people were able to pick up their items at the finish line with no fuss at all.

I would advise on bringing som ethrow away clothes for the start though, when I went it was quite cold for standing around but the running conditions were perfect, not much wind but a nice crispy cold day, sun started to come out around 12:00 or so.

Good luck to all running it, I am hoping to get in shape for one of the ones taking place in October and November, just have to try train through the humidity of summer first Sad

Well...I'm running the 1/2 marathon in May and I was just in the states on vacation so I picked up some GU. I have some extra if you want to buy them. I'll sell them to you for 2,000won each. I only have the vanilla and tri berry kinds. PM me if you are interested.
