I'm heading to Jeonju in a week and just wanted to see if there were any new travelers headed that way. |

I don't live there but I go there often to shop at that store " I love Cookie," it has a lot of western things that they don't have in Korea. I really like that area.
I always see a lot of foreigners walking around there so I can't imagine you'll be lonely. Have fun. |

Jeonju is a fantastic city - check out the Jeonju Hub www.thejeonjuhub.com for tons of info on what's going on in the city and some useful contacts...
For western stuff, try FeelHouse which is directly across the street from the front entrance of Emart, in Seosindong. They usually have a good selection of random western goods which I'm told are brought down from the Hannam supermarket in Seoul... |

Jeonju is a lovely city...lived there in 2007...plenty of things to do there and in the surrounding areas. Gaeksa is a nice lil downtown area, and there of course is the hanok village with all the little traditional korean houses...plenty to do there as well. jeonju's bibimbap is the best, and so are the strawberries!
will u be working for epik or at a private school? |
