I'm down in the south (city, not rural)? The last couple of days I thought I was getting a cold, and now I definitely feel like I have one. My throat is scratchy and tickly, and I feel like there is phlegm way down deep. Other than that my face feels a tad warm, and my eyes feel tired. No headache, and no nose problem at the moment.

I've also been hearing a lot about the yellow dust, and is is turning to spring. I have never had allergies before but I wonder: how do you tell the difference between allergies and a cold? And if it's allergies (which means it wouldn't go away in days, necessarily) what should I do about it? (Like I said, I'm completely new to allergies).

The flowers are coming out. Get your blood tested (real real cheap here) and have them look for elevated histamines that would indicate a chronic allergic reaction. Zyrtec is OTC here. If you have spring allergies in Morning Calm, you're in company with a HUGE amount of people.

Spring time causes a lot of trouble for me too - it's not allergies just the changing weather and dryness.

My allergies are all in a tizzy lately, but it only seems to be in my English classroom which I'm in 4 days out of the week. Does anyone have a similar problem...what's a good medicine in Korea for indoor allergies(I'm guessing it has to be from dust)?

Welcome to yellow dust season boys and girls...
We had a really big attack mid-week and what you're feeling is the side effects of breathing in microscopic bits of sand and pollution... Welcome to Korea in the Spring Wink

Except that yellow crap that's all over the place isn't yellow dust. It's pine pollen. Hoang-sa doesn't collect like that.
