Different at every school, me thinks. Two middle school and two high school. Last year (at a different school) it was 2 middle school and 4 high school co-teachers. |

I work at a public elem. school and we don't have co-teachers. Just homeroom teachers for each class that come in. They don't do anything though (which is actually a good thing). They just sit and make sure none of the kids kill each other. |

I have five this year at a Middle School teaching first, second and third grade students. It's always good to teach with someone different I think as it adds a little variety to the week. |

And we can hone our teaching practice by watching different types of teachers, especially experienced ones. |
