Hello everyone,

I am selling my 17" Macbook Pro because I don't really use it all that much. It is the early 2009 model. This model is identical to the model currently for sale, except the new model has a 500 GB hard drive and 2.8 GHz CPU. My computer has a 320 GB hard drive and a 2.66 GHz CPU (since the CPUs have the same architecture, the speed increase results in a performance gain of 5.3%). My laptop also has the matte screen, which some people prefer over the glossy screen. See all the specs for the current model here http://store.apple.com/kr/configure/MC226KH/A?mco=MTM4MzM0NzE. The current model is selling new from Apple for 3,661,500 won (including the matte screen option). I am selling my laptop for 2,400,000 won OBO.

It is functionally and cosmetically perfect. There are no scratches or dents, the battery still carries a full charge, and it looks beautiful. It is perfect because I have only used it outside my apartment two times (and that is why I am selling it! Laughing).

I bought it in September of 2009, but didn't get it until December of 2009, so I have been using it for less than 4 whole months. The warranty is good through September of 2010. Apple Care extended warranty can be added any time until September 2010 (it is best to buy Apple Care on eBay to get a good price).

I am located in Yeokgok, Bucheon City, just southwest of Seoul (it is literally 1 subway stop out of Seoul on the 1-line). I will ONLY do a face to face transaction.

If you are interested, then you can contact me via e-mail at [email protected] or via PM here. Or I suppose you can post to this thread as well. After we have exchanged messages, if it seems that you are a serious buyer, then I will give you my cell phone number.

Thanks for looking!

edit: lowered price to 2,400,000 won OBO

Did you buy it in Korea? Interested in one with a Korean/English keyboard.

And which OS version are you running?

I forgot to mention that I bought it in the US. It has an English only keyboard, sorry. It is currently running Snow Leopard. Of course, I will install a fresh copy of the OS before selling. The purchaser can decide if he or she wants Snow Leopard or Leopard. Of course, I don't think most people would want me to install Leopard, but there are some who may wish to run it for compatibility reasons. My copy of Snow Leopard is legit, so I'll include the disk if the purchaser wants.

Yes, it has the standard 5400 RPM hard drive. I didn't upgrade the hard drive when I configured it.

I haven't received any interest so I lowered the price to 2,400,000 OBO. Please e-mail me at [email protected], post a reply here, or PM me if you're interested.

It doesn't have any software other than what it came with. It doesn't have a case, either (which is probably why I almost never took it out of the apartment). I do have the original box with the original packaging, though, so you could transport it using that if you want. It's a nice box with a plastic handle, and it has a fitted plastic thing inside, so it won't slide around while you are transporting it. Let me know if you're still interested, thanks.
