When claiming your pension do you get back only your contribution or both yours and your employers?

I always assumed you would get the full 9% but I read something last night (looking for it now so I can quote it) that made it seem like you only got back your contribution. |

				| you should be getting both your and your employer's contributions - so 9%. remember, pension is taxed though. |

If you are in the NPS (national plan) then you get the full 9% returned assuming you are from one of the countries entitled to a withdrawal.

(from experience).

Private pension plans (university) have different rules about claiming contributions.
