Hey,
Well ive been in korea now for a month and now my employer is telling me I need to get a criminal criminal check in korea from the local police. He told me that all teachers in Dongjak need to have this done. My question is why does the immigration make you submit a check from your home country if they can just do one here? Does this only check korean records? It just seems like the immigration would do the check themselves before you got here.
Thanks |

Sounds like a peculiarity of your POE. You're totally fine with it if they're driving and paying. |

so is it a check for korean records only? I am just confused why the immigration has you do one from your home country if they can just do one here. |

The one from your home country doesn't include Korean records. |
