I was contributing to the national pension and now I'm contributing to a private pension.

Can anyone tell me the contact information for the national pension office?

When we leave Korea, is the process the same for claiming our pension from the national pension office versus a private pension plan?

Does this mean I have to claim 2 sets of pensions? From my understanding, the national pension situation is safe... is there any risk when dealing with a private pension?

Oh, and I'm on an E2 visa if that makes any difference.

Thanks for any advice on this matter.

The listings of the local pension offices are on the English side of their website:
http://www.nps.or.kr/

They also have a helpline number you might be able to call and get advice from (sometimes you can get an English speaker).

Can't answer about the private pension plan - each one has its own rules - you have to contact them.
