Does anyone here JUST teach privates?
If so, is it regular work and does it work out a better deal after you take all the benefits into consideration? |

Its better to have something that is stable and take privates on the side. Privates tend to be irregular because of cancellations, etc. If you can get something that has morning hours, like kindergarden, you can easily find kids to teach at night. At least this is so in Gangnam. Also, if you find a school where you teach afternoon or evening hours, you can teach corporate privates or classes in the morning. |

Some make pretty good money working two or three PT jobs illegally. Make sure you are paid more often than monthly. Beware of immigration! |

I know that privates are lucrative blah blah and I know they make a good sideline and I know to be careful blah blah.
But. Does anyone do only privates? That is what I am curious about. |

I have in the past. It can be better, but you need to have good contacts and people you trust. You always need to remember that some months sucks and that you should always plan for about 20% more classes than you want to teach, this covers you for cancellations and the like.
