|
|
Hey all,
Newb question.
I want to get Zyrtec (allergy medicine), which I know is available over the counter, how do I ask for it? Is the name the same in Korean? Is there a hangeul-ization of "Zyrtec"? For some godawful reason I actually live far away from the pharmacy so when I go I want to make sure the pharmacist understands me.
Also, I know this is a long shot, but is Flonase OTC here? Does that have a special "Korean name" or should I just ask for Flonase?
Thanks in advance! |

Zyrtec is Zyrtec here. If you want the generic, ask for "Cetirizine" (seh-teer-eee-jean). |

I ask for Zyrtec and they give me 노텤 (no teki). It's the exact same thing. Just ask for allergy (allugeee in Korean, great word) medicine. They will know what you are on about. |

I've had that. Honestly I don't think I've ever seen the same Zyrtec twice. Unless it's actual branded pills. |
