I searched around but could not find any thing close to a Home Depot or Lowes. Where can I get 2x4s, plywood, doors, windows, insulation, wiring, plumbing parts, sinks, roofing, flooring, and hardware in Korea?
Is there a site in Korea that I can order high quality tools from?
Thanks. |

I'd be interested to know myself.
I do know that Homeplus (and I would imagine the other large stores) has a hardware aisle, but it doesn't have a huge selection: tools, screws, shower heads. I went there to buy some screw anchors for hanging some blinds. Managed to get some that were made out of metal instead of plastic; good quality. |

My Father in law renovates apts here in korea so he goes to those kind of places alot.
I can tell you right now stores similar to home depot/Lowes absolutely exist. ( although probably overall much smaller.
I've actually visited one over a week ago here in Daejeon. They had all kinds of stuff ( including everything you mentioned above) Definitely not as much variety as one would have in USA/Canada.
Unfortunately no clue what the name was. We went in through the back entrance. However the Whole area ( in daejeon) was full of medium/small size stores with all kinds of building materials for contractors and apt building. I'm sure any of the bigger cities have places like this. |
