I've been to Gangnam, Itaewon, and Hongdae plenty of times....and also Heywa, Sinchon, Jamsil, Konkuk areas quite a few times...

Any other great neighburhoods I'm missing out on? Any good clubs in Apguejong specifically BTW?

Forget the clubs in Apkujeong or Cheongdam, especially if you're looking to pick up chicks. They're so pretentious and are full of snobby people.

You just named the main places to party in Seoul, so if you're sick of those places, you might be out of luck.

Yeah, I need some new places as well. I've only been here 4 months and find that I keep going to the same places already.

The places the Ukon mentioned are probably the best places for nightlife in Seoul, especially if you're a foreigner. As for Apgujeong/Cheongdam its more of date place for me then a nightlife spot, you probably familar with the main clubs like Eden.

Not so much for clubbing but a place to drink with a decent crowd you could try the Jonggak St area in Jongno, Cheonho St area a couple of stops from Jamsil, Sillim St area near Seoul Uni. Also you may want to consider heading out of Seoul. I went to visit a friend in Ansan recently and was surprised to find how lively the Jungang St area was at night. I'm sure other cities around Seoul like Suwon, Bandung, and Anyang have similar spots.

There's a great new addition to Hongdae called "Mansion" just down the road from where the M2/Qvo building is. Used to be "Museum" but they sank a ton of money into the place and it's gorgeous.

Volume and Eden are probably the premiere clubs in Seoul right now, perhaps followed by Heaven if they can get their act together. Answer is also a decent option but they're under renovation.

A new club called "Rehap" (not sure where they were going with this one) just opened in Jongno/Jonggak by the Cheonggye stream, but I haven't scoped that one out yet.

I would assume that you, like most clubbers, have hit the main spots in all these areas, but there are literally thousands of bars, pubs and lounges in the main areas. Try and stay out of the usual spots and go exploring with your friends sometime. You may find someplace you really like.

Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong (between Sinsa and Apgujeong stations) is a cool little artsy street with tons of cafes, lounges, restaurants, and plastic surgery clinics. Very Happy Check that out sometime before you hit up the main club areas. I can recommend specific venues if you're interested.

Try Anam-dong by Korea University. It's good fun. Also Yeungdongpo, it's very Korean. Nowon can be alright too at times. But why don't you venture to Bundang, Incheon, or Bucheon. There is lots of fun to be found there too.

It's kind of tough to find, but there's an AWESOME vodka bar on one of the side streets.

If you're coming from the Apgujeongno side, walk past the Coffee Bean and keep an eye out for a pharmacy. Turn right and it's a few blocks down on the right hand side.

Garosu-gil is a couple's paradise, though. There are so many intimate and cozy bars there you shouldn't have any problem finding a place to unwind and cop a buzz.

The weather should be nice, so just walk around a bit and I'm sure you'll find a place you like. This area is a gem...not too rowdy, not too snooty.

i've had unexpectedly awesome nights just outside seoul, in places like anyang and pyeongchon. i don't know if they have proper clubs but whenever i went to bars there, we always ended up either at the house party of someone we just met, getting barmaids' phone numbers, or doing noraebang with random wasted koreans. none of which happens very often in apgujong.
