| Anyone ever see any shady stuff going on in GZ? I read that daylight robberies aren't rare and that you won't receive help from crowds if you're getting mugged. |

| It's safe. Exercise basic common sense as you would in any other major city and you'll be fine. I know lots of people who live there, and have been myself, and I've never heard of a daylight robbery, and it felt just like any other Chinese city, ie. blissfully safe. |
