Not sure if this one has been done before. If it has (yes did a search) I do apologize for those who get upset about posts like this one.

This is more curiosity then anything else. I know that western women living and working in Korea say they sometimes have a difficult time dating. That is, that the western men are not really interested in them as they prefer pursuing Korean girls. And the many western girls (not all) are not really attracted to Korean/Asian men.

So I am wondering of those of you who have lived and worked in other Asian countries (Japan, China, Thailand etc) was the experience similar there as it is here for you?

And for guys who have also lived in other Asian countries is the pattern the same there as it is here?

If someone says something to the effect of "Western women just don't take care of themselves like Korean women do" you can safely ignore everything they say as that's pretty damning evidence that they are, in fact, retarded.

Let's be more precise.

Anglo women (Americans, English, Australians) are generally not into Asian/Korean men. This is the group prevalent in S. Korea -- but a fairly sloppy looking group appearance-wise in my opinion.

European women, esp. French, are far more open and even have a fetish towards certain types of Asian men. A superior group appearance-wise, for sure.

Too complicated to get into the reasons why here but has a lot to do with institutionalized racism prevalent in the media/culture of the Anglosphere.

How come Western women don't dig on gyopo guys? There's no language barrier. There's no cultural misunderstandings.

I think Western women have heard about the size of the Korean men's package below the belt, so they don't dig these guys.

I have accepted that I will be single whilst here. I am not into Korean guys (too skinny!) and the Western guys I have met are few and far between, and are usually a) here with a girlfriend, b) into Korean women or c) not into me, which is fair enough.

Oh well. I'll live.
