Can somebody please advise the Income Tax due on 2.5 K salary??

The Korean National Tax Service website is blocked on my school computer.

Also, what percentage of tax do we pay, i..e., 100% of our gross salary, or do they tax our Rural Area and Multiple Schools Allowances, too?

Any help appreciated.

I finally got www.nts.go.kr through yahoo.com.

However, I could only find a calculator that gave me a withholding tax if I had one dependent child under 20. That's not me.

Do these figures sound right???

Income 2.500,000 won (without allowances).
49,950 won Income Tax
4,990 won Resident Tax (10% of simple fixed taxes).

Any help appreciated.
