I can give you a pretty good lowdown on Timberland in Korea. There is a store in Myeongdong. Can't even begin to give you directions but you will find it eventually. Limited styles and especially sizes. They generally won't order anything for you - even from the Asian headquarters in H.K.
Styles in Asia generally - you may know this - are not like the American versions of Timberland. A pity, as I really like them myself. I have traversed Seoul - literally - in my quest for these boots/shoes. There have been stores in the big departments stores at times, like Shinsegae, but they often close or are replaced by other brands. The selection is also limited there as well, if you can find a branch that still sells them. The one downtown had some not long ago, across from Myeongdong, the flagship Shinsegae.
I saw some in a small store in H.K. last month, and meant to visit their main store but didn't get the chance. What I saw was a limited selection too. Not much call for the heavier boots in H.K. I had already bought a pair of Meindl's in Jongno-0-ga anyway. They were on sale but still expensive.
One of the stores in Itaewon used to carry Timberland's but the last time I checked (December) they no longer had any. It was a just a few pairs anyhow. It was on the opposite side of the street from the Hamilton, fairly close to the Mcdonalds. |

Thanks man, good stuff. Although it sounds like with my large feet I won't be getting anything in Korea.....ah well wishful thinking. |

I should have mentioned that I have managed to buy some Timberland shoes here. I have size 10/11 feet. I just wasn't happy with the style. Still have one pair of black shoes that I wear for formal events, but they aren't a comfortable walking around shoe.
You may get lucky, but it may take a great deal of effort and searching.
I considered ordering to my home address and then getting them shipped here, but I don't like buying sized items online. I also wanted to find a place (I was that desperate) which could take a mold of your foot, and then send that mold to Timberland. Not sure if that would work. Never found such a place. I know some ski stores in Europe and elsewhere do that. But that is getting a little carried away.
If it is boots you are looking for, there are good stores around Jeongja, as well as outlet stores elsewhere, including in Bundang, near Jukjeon. |

I wear 13's in Timberland. I want a pair of the new Earthkeepers by Timberland. I will probably just wait till my VISA run in October, won't need them in the hot summer months. |
