Yes, it counts as all five, as a matter of fact.

Of course it does!

Ah a Reading boy: Spend an evening drinking at The Hobgoblin and try to come up with a better question.

Go watch a youtube video on kimchi making. It's a vegetable. It's been pickled. Yes, it counts toward your five a day.

I challenge anybody, no matter how much Hobgoblin he does, to come up with a better question.

Kimchi is vile. Oh, and it causes cancer. But then again, you don't hear about that around these parts. They kind of hush that up.

Kimchi does not cause cancer.

It contains:

1. Cabbage
2. Red Pepper Flake
3. Fish sauce
4. Onions
5. Green onions
6. Carrots
7. Rice flour
8. Salty shrimps
9. Sesame Seeds
10. Salt

You show me where those mixed together cause cancer, because all I see on google are a bunch of people spreading that tiresome rumor again and again here at Dave's ESL Cafe.

Yes, I suppose if you already have a genetic predisposition to stomach cancer, you may get stomach cancer. Do you have a citation for the claim that kimchi causes cancer? Because your link doesn't support that.

(Lil hint: Just because the words "Kimchi" and "Cancer" are in the same article doesn't mean that the article is about Kimchi causing cancer.)

If you eat spicy food for your whole life you're at a higher risk of stomach cancer. Kimchi does not cause cancer like cigarrettes cause cancer
