and have questions regarding contracts. I know someone a few weeks ago was compiling a "master" contract format. I haven't heard anything recently, so I decided to do the following:
On my website (the link is in my signature below), I will create a sub-page for ESL'ers. This page will include NEED TO KNOW ASAP information such as contracts, how to get a driver's license, what to avoid tips, my hogwon won't pay my severance what do I do, etc.
Please give me about a week or two to create the page. I am excited to do this and hope you all can benefit from it. Many of us get screwed over because we are unprepared. Dave's ESL provides us with a venting medium. I would like to compliment this site with actual tangible (and some intangible) things that are necessities to us teachers. Any comments, suggestions, or contributions would be greatly appreciated. Those that contribute will obviously be recognized as doing so. Have a great day and I hope we all continue to help each other in a kind and courteous manner (please forgive my sp. if I have mistakes). I am beat tired and am typing fast.
Sincerely,
me |

Sounds useful. But, how do you think it'll be different from GalbiJim and EFL-Law who have seemingly covered the same areas quite thoroughly? |

In all honesty, I haven't checked out those other sites. From what it sounds like, my website will just serve as a compliment to these other sites. That's all. Better to have more resources at your disposal. |

Well, for a start, EFL-law requires a fee now to use their site, so unless you are a member, you cannot get access to their information. |

alright. a balanced, generic contract is up. It still needs work so any constructive criticism is welcomed. |

GalbiJim is still an option for those not wanting to pay EFLAW. |
