|
|
I have a notarized copy of my diploma with an apostille from the CA Secretary of State. I gave this to my prospective school but they are claiming they need the original for two reasons:
1. The school "strongly thinks immigration won't accept the copy."
2. The original is needed to submit to the Ministry of Education.
Any advice? The school also said #1 depends on the immigration branch office, and this particular branch wants the original. |

It doesn't matter which office - the copy with the apostille is perfectly acceptable to immigration (their choice in fact).
The school doesn't like it because they can't hold it as a hostage to ensure your stay and compliance.
AS to #2 - they just need a simple photocopy. |

Thanks for the quick response. I figured as much, just wanted some confirmation. |
