have someone ship you over the counter drugs available in the US to Korea? Seems like a hassle to get some things here that I want, but not really interested in getting in trouble for anything. Obviously would be a small amount.

it would depend on the specific drug in question, different countries have different regulations on different types of medications. In general I would assume that customs likely wouldn't release an medication it intercepted. But you know what they say about assumptions...

Probably, but I've done it with Immodium. I don't need to go to the doctor every time I get diarrhea.

It's illegal to import diet pills etc, but I'm not sure about anything else.
Get your school to ring the customs department.

Good Luck.

You can get arestal here, it works pretty good. If you ask nice they'll give you a box of pills that should last you awhile.

If it's legal here and the amount being sent to you is clearly for personal consumption, I can't see there being any issue. I have had clarityn, cough syrup, nasal sprays, cold and flu pills and Cold FX sent to me from Canada and the UK over the past 2 years and never had an issue; but then again I hadn't even considered the possibility it might be an issue. Maybe I was lucky....I'd get a Korean friend to check it out with Customs if I were you.

My sister sent me Ibuprofin when I was there and there were no problems whatsoever, but when my mom sent me a cake mix and some other food items on my birthday, my boss had to answer questions from the customs people. Even that wasn't a big deal though. My boss just told them that I was new to Korea and didn't know my way around yet.

I think pseudoephedrine is illegal here. I wouldn't have any cold remedy with that in shipped over.

You're shipping it the wrong way! Pseudoephedrine is OTC in Korea and behind the counter/sign your life away in most of the US.
