Any fishermen out there? Does one need a fishing license for rod and reel fishing in Korea?

If so, where is it obtained? City Hall? How much does it cost?

I don't think you need one. Pretty sure in fact.

Hi Kiko,

You don't need a license to fish in Korea. Salt water or fresh, makes no difference.

Some fishing threads.

Thanks guys!

Zippy's hoping to be back soon and he found an old Christmas present from years ago, 'fishing pole and tackle-in-a-box' that he's bringing with him.

Shocked No jokes about extendable poles!
