Hey All,
Have any other Brits done their application from another country? I'm currently in Canada and wondering what the hell to do with my degree and how to get a Police Check from the UK.
Have any of you been through this process and can you please help me out?
I'm just worried that it will all take to long to get sorted out. |

You are also aware that you may need to go back to the UK for your consular interview as well? (I assumed that this was your 1st time to apply for an E2). |

call the nearest Korean consulate and verify with them what the requirements are, they're usually very friendly and helpful. Odds are all you need to do is order a set of transcripts from your university (which I would assume you already have) go to a lawyers office and have them notorize a copy of the degree (would also assume you have your university diploma) And then send it to nearest consulate (Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal)

How long have you been living in Canada? you may only need a Canadian background check... but contact the Korean consulate to verify that. If you do need a UK background check contact the nearest British consulate or embassy, they should be able to help you with that. |

Fed ex it to the Police office that is responsible. Include a return pouch with the address you want it to go to, include the payment, should take about two weeks. Check with your potential employer what exactly they want. |
