|
|
I heard through the grapevine today that my apartment is 'illegal' because my rent is 600k won a month and the Korean government only allows them to use 400k won for housing.
Can anyone confirm/deny this? I am teaching under GEPIK. Worst case senario I will have to pay the difference to keep my apartment I guess. |

IF you have school supplied housing then no worry. They CAN'T come after you for the difference.
The housing allowance is what you get if you take the cash - not what the school is allowed to spend.
It is common for schools to go over the housing allowance when obtaining a residence for their NET.
My old place was 550k per month with 10 mil for key money. |
