so I get to 7luck hilton ready to enjoy some cards, when I walk over to find that all the poker tables have been replaced with blackjack tables. The information person wouldn't give me any details...

I was at the 7luck 2 weeks ago and they had poker tables.

That casino is way too crowded. It makes more sense for them to get rid of poker and make other tables instead. In the area where 10-20 people play poker, you could easily have 50-60 people playing blackjack.

Both 7 Luck casinos have had their poker contracts come to an end. They had signed one year contracts and they have expired. The only place to play right now in Seoul is at Walker Hill www.walkerhillpoker.com, but there are rumors that the 7 Lucks will have poker back in a couple months under new ownership.

7luck is ridiculous for tables. The only way to play blackjack is to show up early and wait at least an hour, standing there defending your spot like a dolt. Once you get on the other 10 people waiting hover over you. Same with all the other tables. Poker was the only thing you could reasonably expect to play right when you walked in. It's definitely not a casual gaming experience, and if you go with friends you can never actually just hang out together.
