| More of a poll I suppose. I know people from the August 2009 orientation who have been approached already, even if it's not in black and white yet. I get the feeling I'm not getting renewed (not that I want to be), but with two other public school jobs I had, I was approached slightly more than half a year in, and here I'm about 8 months in. So I guess the more serious question to ask here is...when do you find out you are NOT going to be renewed? |

Getting renewed? When it's convenient for them. Not getting renewed? Probably 1 day before the contract is up. If you need to know, ask them directly.

| got asked in late May last year for the 2009/2010 renewal but I guess it varies. |

Told them I was interested in late April... Had my renewal open class in mid-June... Got my contract late July...
(They were realllllly behind last year with contract changes... Lots and lots of headaches b/c people wanted to use their vacation in early August and had to worry about getting their visa renewed before they went) |

--I have my first demo lesson in two weeks. Would that be considered a "renewal demo" as well? What if someone wants to transfer...do they still have to do a 2nd demo? |
