I'm part of the new influx of teachers in Gyeongnam do. During our meeting in Changwon yesterday, the lady (official?) told us that we must submit another "original criminal background check" to the immigration in order for us to get our alien registration card. (isn't a copy good enough?!?)
Did anyone else have to deal with this? |

If you submitted an original CRC (with apostille or embassy cert) to the POE or immigration office when you obtained your visa you do NOT need to submit another one to get your ARC - she is mistaken.
To get your ARC you need:
1.) passport
2.) application
3.) medical
4.) 10k won
5.) 2 passport sized photos
7.) copy of schools registration
8.) guarantor form from the school
9.) certificate of employment (to prove you actually work at the school). |
