Canadian guy/English teacher from Saskatoon; way back in 1999. Took a whole (large) bottle of his meds (which none of us knew about beforehand) and drank two liters of scotch. At least he had the decency to do it in a hotel, not at home. Anyone else know of English teacher suicides here (other than the guy in Pusan earlier this week)?

David Bower, Yorkshire, England: Fall of 2004. a wonderful man, his death is very suspicious because the Korean authorities version of the story has a few big holes in it.

The warning on the other "suicide" thread applies here, too.

Thanks for the warning Dimitris Stylianos.

I just find it strange that the OP wishes to know MORE about "other" foreigners who has suicided here.

Suicide is a common but sad thing, one way to avoid it is when you are feeling down chat to your friends - they are there to listen and offer you a solution to your problem.

Chat to your friends.

roughly 12000 suicides a year in Korea...
they all had lives and stories...

its crazy when America says how gun deaths are a serious problem with around 10.000 a year.. suicides are a SERIOUS problem then...
