Does anyone know if the KEB VISA card works for buying airfare on English language websites?
Has anyone done this?
If so, which web sites?
Thanks |

I've done it with a check card. So I imagine there should be no problem. |

Didn't work for me when I tried it on websites such as expedia, ebookers etc. I talked to a KEB manager at one of their expat centres and she just agreed when I told her about it.
I can vouch that the KEB global card worked at Japanese postal ATMs, however. |

Didn't read the english website part. It did work on the Asiana website one time for me, and works for the Korean ones. |

you can only book flights online using your check card (not credit card) when you make purchases on a korean webpage.
try interpark for that or any korean airline site. i regularly do that and have no problem with it whatsoever.
its quick and theres no additional fee. |

just read the fine print on the back of your card. "Valid for overseas ATMs (must register for FX transactions) but invalid for overseas purchasing merchandise" |
