Has anyone else applied online for the Birmingham uni long distance TESL MA?
It seems quite a lengthy proceedure. I can't find the correct code for the TESL MA. Does anyone know it?
Who did you put for your reference? Can I use my old classmates from uni?
Also is everything with Birmingham uni this convoluted?
I feel like I should get a degree if i successfully apply. |

I hope you're not applying for the coming term, which starts next month. I'm pretty sure it would be impossible to get all of your materials in and complete the application by then since the orientation is March 27.
As for the procedure, I started in early January and got word on my acceptance around the end of February, so about a 6 week turnaround.
For referees I used former coworkers. You need one who can attest to your professional competence and one who can vouch for your academic competence.
Sorry, I don't know the code off-hand. Maybe someone else can help you with that. Good luck! |

Thanks for the reply EC. I am not applying for the forthcoming term. I am checking to see whether i would be accepted for the course. I am also looking at other universitites.
If possible it would be great if I could PM someone who is either starting, half way through, or finished the course. If anyone is willing to answer some questions, please send me a PM. |

What is the cost for the programme. I am looking it to it and would like to know how much it is. I am from the US so I do not know if that will make a difference in the price. |
