I have tried downloading "Taegukki" (Brotherhood of War) but the English subtitles don't work. Anybody know how to do this (or where I can get a copy with good Eng. subtitles?)

Is there a .srt or .smi file that came with the movie download? If so, make sure it is in the same directory as the video file and make sure they have the same name (excluding extension). Most video players open the subtitle file automatically when the names are the same. Otherwise, you can manually select the subtitle file to load from within your video player. Generally, you will not find subtitles encoded into the movie (hard-subbed).

Unfortunately, saying "the English subtitles don't work" doesn't actually tell us enough for us to offer much help.

I tried searching for "taegukgi subtitles english" on Google and found an entire page of results. The first result was a working subtitle file in .srt format.

Thanks, but I was just trying to play it on the computer. I will try different media players (with the subtitles in the same file.....................)

Ah, I wonder if that is my Taegukgi rip that I made several years ago?

Copy and paste the file name of the movie into google then add .srt at the end. If it doesn't come up with the subtitle file, I would just download a different copy of the file.

You can check that the .srt file is included in the torrent before you download it. I'm no good at explaining that stuff. Maybe someone can tell him how to check? If you keep your eyes peeled, you should see it.

What's the name of the file? Usually the DVD rippers put that in the file name. Then cross match the file name with the proper subtitle on Kloofy.
