The things pols will do to hit the news cycles.
And if you're in Afghanistan, you pretty much have to say something this ridiculous if you want to get anywhere near page 1 in American newspapers.
I say this b/c I want Karzai's voice to be heard: Americans should seriously consider suing for peace with the Taliban, if the price is right. |
