Has anyone taken it? If so, what did it do for you?

oh... very, very good for male health, just ask any Korean.
::edit:: I decided to answer honestly;

I've taken it before, in fact I used to regularly take red ginseng supplements through university as an alternative to coffee. Whether it actually made a difference or was just the plecebo effect I can't say for sure, but I did seem to be more alert and not as tired through the day. Can't say I noticed any differences in the 'virility' area though. Every now and then when I'm sluggish in the morning I'll pickup one of those ginseng drinks before school, and it seems to help me survive the day.

It is supposed to be good for health - Korean ginseng is highly sought after in other countries so, should work well. I have taken it and not noticed any difference, but I have never noticed any difference when taking any vitamins or herbs for health. Probably works.

Good for keeping your mood up when working hung over. Last winter I started having the ginseng drinks almost every morning to try and keep bugs away. May have worked, but they're so full of nasty fructose sweetening that I don't like to have them often.

K co-worker made me a red ginseng-honey concoction. I was wild-eyed and shaky soon after. Shocked Did not like the taste; don't even like the red ginseng candies.

Reputed to be good for the immune system.

I get a fresh red ginseng drink delivered at school each morning by one of those health drink ajummas. I've been doing so for years. Totally anecdotal but something is working for me as I very seldom get sick.

I caught a classic cold this week, all the symptoms. Done & over today, just 24 hours later. My 2nd cold in 5 years & otherwise always fine (including when a third of my school was out with swine flu).

Could it be the ginseng? I dont know, but maybe.
