|
|
Hey all,
I bought a laptop about a year ago, on the cheap. It's only a few years old and it's actually worked fine, for the most part.
A few days ago it started slowing down... freezing a lot, taking longer and longer to load windows. Now it's reallllllly slowed down. I mean... a half hour to load windows and start any program, everything choppy and slow and freezing constantly...
I know little about computers... I downloaded AVG antivirus, and it basically just slowed down everything worse.
However, as I type, it seems like despite taking forever for anything to load... something suddenly click and it suddenly starts working fine.
Still, I know something's not right. Only here for a few more months and not looking to buy a new computer... anyone want to help a technically inept man? Either with suggestions or a few bucks for a repair or cleansing or whatever?? |

Do you have, or can you borrow a Windows install CD? Back up your files and do a clean install.. that should help bring things back up to pace. |

Ha... um... the thing about that is... I don't have a CD player. Is there anything else I can do?
I don't mind paying twenty or forty thousand to make this thing work well again, if even for a few more months. If any independant repair men want to make some extra cash and get this thing going, please let me know. |

Take it to Yongsan - specifically seon-in Plaza.

where exactly is Seon-in Plaza? I'm kind of familiar. Any place you'd recommend? My somewhat new HP is having issues. Download speed is super slow both on wireless and wired. HP says its not an HP issue but must be software issue. yey. need to get a second opinion plz let me know more details if you have them. thanks! |
